I know we're in an era where people will believe any crazy theory over proven science, especially when it comes to climate change but this is next-level crazy.

The ABC affiliate in Scranton, Pennsylvania has a segment on the news where people can call in and give their opinions, then have those opinions blasted out to everyone watching.

And last week, one of their callers had a theory on why we're seeing more tornadoes now than we used to.

Here it is in all its glory. It starts at the 1:08 mark.

"We didn't have tornadoes here until we started putting in the traffic circles . . . You wanna know why? When people go round and round in circles, it causes disturbance in the atmosphere, and causes tornadoes."

For what it's worth, there's no scientific proof that people driving in circles causes tornadoes.
