National French Fry Day is observed on July 13th every year. It recognizes a staple food on menus across the country. Fries come in so many different cuts, styles, and shapes such as curls, waffles, crinkle, and tornado cut.

Condiments such as ketchup, ranch dressing, vinegar, mayonnaise, honey mustard, cheese, and many more complement French fries. Other than condiments, chefs like to sprinkle seasonings to add flavor and spice to their fries. Other things to add to a plate of fries could be a little garlic and onion powder. Spice them up cajun style or top them with chili, nacho cheese, and jalapeños.

There is talk about changing National French Fry day to the second Friday of July, this way businesses can call it Fryday. Makes more sense to me! But we will wait and see if that actually happens.
