Free Vaccine Clinic In Davenport
On Saturday, October 3, two local animal welfare establishments, the Quad City Animal Welfare Center (QCAWC) and the Humane Society of Scott County, are joining forces to host Vax & Wags. Head down to St. Anthony Catholic Church (417 N. Main St., Davenport) between 10:00 a.m. and noon to grab essential care for your pup at zero cost.
200 Free Rabies Vaccines
Local vet teams and generous volunteers will be staffing the QCAWC Mobile Vet Van to hand out 200 free rabies vaccines and 200 free distemper/parvo shots. No appointments are needed, so plan to arrive early; it’s strictly first-come, first-served while supplies last!
Beyond keeping tails wagging safely, the morning doubles as a celebration of our favorite fur-babies. Starting at 10:00 a.m., St. Anthony’s will host its traditional Blessing of the Animals, offering a sweet moment to honor the special place pets hold in our lives.

Quick Ground Rules for Safety:
- Keep 'em leashed: All dogs must be securely leashed and kept under control.
- Leave flexi-leads at home: Standard leashes only. Retractable leashes aren't allowed.
