This Is What A Whale Sounds Like When He's Trying to Find a Lady

Whale's like to get it on too, even if it is just for reproductive purposes. When it comes time for a boy whale to find a girl whale, they'll begin to sing a complex song that lasts about 10 to 20 minutes.

The song isn't so much to impress the chicks like Mick Jagger would, but it actually helps to produce estrus in the females.

Humpback males will travel in a pack, and will follow females. When she's ready to mate, the males will fight each other for who gets to do it.

"Fighting" between humpbacks includes "breaching, spyhopping, lob-tailing, tail-slapping, pectoral fin-slapping, peduncle throws, charging and parrying," according to Wikipedia.
