The EAGLES Add Iowa Tour Stop On “Hotel California” Tour
Thanks to some overwhelming demand, the Eagles have added 6 new tour stops along their "Hotel California" 2022 Tour in the U.S. with some November shows, including one tour stop in Iowa at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Each concert along this tour features the Hotel California album performed live in its entirety with a full orchestra and choir. Then, a short intermission will give everyone a chance for a breather before the band takes the stage again for a full set of their greatest hits.
Thursday, November 17th, the Eagles - Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill filling in for the late Glenn Fry - will take over the Wells Fargo Arena.
Hotel California is the third best-selling album in US album history, being certified Platinum 26 times by the RIAA. Upon its release in 1976, the album won two Grammy Awards for New Kid in Town and Hotel California. Several of the album's songs haven't been performed live since the original Hotel California tour.
The band's second set, which will consist of their greatest hits, reminds us of Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977 album, which became the highest-selling album in US album sales history - being certified Platinum 38-times.
Tickets for this show go on sale on Friday, August 19th at 10am - through Ticketmaster and the Wells Fargo Arena box office. OR you can win before you buy when you enter our contest below.
