ZZ Top Announces A Stop In The Quad Cities On Newest Tour
One of Classic Rock's most recognized names and sounds has apparently decided that they like us here in Iowa as they announce their third Eastern Iowa tour stop in a little over a year.
ZZ Top is going to be stopping by the Quad Cities as part of their tour through the Midwest.
As most know, after nearly 50 years of being together, the band suffered the loss of bassist, vocalist, and part of the iconic bearded duo, Dusty Hill. Since, the band's longtime tech Elwood Francis was able to step in to fill the hole in a way that allows the band to continue to tour.
He recently went viral for playing a 17-string bass - continuing the band's traditions of weird and out-there versions of their instruments.
ZZ Top has been cranking out hits since 1969, and you'll hear all of your favorites at their show, like:
- Legs
- Waitin' for the Bus / Jesus Just Left Chicago
- Gimme All Your Lovin'
- Tube Snake Boogie
- and of course, La Grange
The band, special guest OPENER, and their iconic guitars will be making an appearance at the Adler Theatre in Davenport on April 11th.
Tickets will be available Friday, January 13th at 10am through Ticketmaster and at the Adler Theatre box office.
