Todd Rundgren has one of the most legendary careers in the music industry as a musican, songwriter, performer, and producer - all fields in which he pushed the envelope for rock, pop, and experimental music.

First gaining attention with his band Nazz before he launched his solo career, Rundgren was able to show the industry he was able to showcase his ability to blend catchy melodies with innovative production.

His 1972 release Something/Anything? first hit the charts as one of his most landmark releases, featuring classic hits like Hello It's Me and I Saw the Light. 

Never one to stick to one genre, his band Utopia exploring complex arrangements and synthesizer-driven sounds through the 70s and 80s. His solo work evolved and 1983 saw one song release that you hear every Friday on the Dwyer & Michaels Morning Show.
