“Santa” Was Arrested In New Hampshire For Driving Drunk With A Kid In The Car
Just in time for the holidays. "Santa" was arrested in a McDonald's drive-thru in New Hampshire for driving drunk with a kid in the car. It wasn't the REAL Santa, of course. It was a 47-year-old woman named Rebecca Santa.
This Candia woman is facing multiple charges after police say she was caught driving under the influence with a young child in her car.
Incident Reported at McDonald’s Drive-Thru
According to Hooksett police, officers stopped 47-year-old Rebecca Santa around 11:30 a.m. on Friday after receiving a call about a possibly intoxicated woman leaving a local business with a child. Police later found Santa in the drive-thru line at a McDonald’s restaurant.
(Even though we know the womans last name is "Santa" I cant help but picture Ol' Saint Nick getting arrested.)
Child Found Safe in the Vehicle
Authorities said there was a 5-year-old child inside the car at the time, but the child was not injured. Police reported that Santa showed clear signs of impairment and admitted to having consumed alcohol.

Tests Showed Extremely High Blood Alcohol Content
Investigators said Santa’s blood alcohol content tested at nearly four times the legal limit. She was charged with aggravated DUI, DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
Santa is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment next week.
