Quad Cities Get Free Pizza From Little Caesars Thanks to March Madness
If you don't follow college basketball then you probably didn't hear that the University of Maryland-Baltimore County beat the University of Virginia in the NCAA tournament on Friday.
It's the first time ever that a number 16 seed beat a number one seed, they were 0-and-135 up to then. Which is good news for the university and bad news for Little Caesars.
To get everyone in the March Madness spirit, the pizza chain tweeted that if a 16 seed beats a one seed, they'd give everyone in the country a free lunch combo. It seemed like a pretty safe bet, but now they owe a lot of people a personal deep dish pizza and a bottle of soda.
On April 2nd, you can go to a participating Little Caesars between 11:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and get yourself a free lunch.
