A couple in Ohio robbed a bank in Ashville last month, 28-year-old John Mogan, and 24-year-old Ashley Duboe. Ashley drove the getaway car while John walked in, handed the teller a note demanding money, then strolled out with the cash.
He was wearing a black hoodie, but in the surveillance video you can clearly see his face. He's also a convicted felon, and was just released from prison in July after serving five years for robbing another bank nearby. It gets even dumber.
Four days after the robbery, they posted a Facebook photo where they're hugging and holding lots of cash. Three days after that, they posted a selfie where John has a big stack of cash in his mouth with the caption, "That's called a McStack." That's just nasty.
And there's another where he's pretending the stack of cash is a phone. One relative even complained that he, "didn't hook a brother up." So the cops put it all together.
What's funny is that before the robbery, Ashley took 'precautionary' measures and covered John's face tattoos with makeup, pretty smart idea. Now they've both been charged with multiple felonies, and are in jail on a $250,000 bond.
