Peeps Popularity Plummets in the Face of Better Easter Candy Options

Peeps are good to eat on Easter, at least if there aren't any chocolate eggs around. That's the thing these days, there are always chocolate eggs around.

According to a new survey, Peeps have plummeted in popularity over the past few years in the face of better Easter candy options.

Here's how the candies ranked:

1. Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs
2. chocolate bunnies
3. jelly beans
4. Hershey's chocolate eggs
5. Peeps

Usually, Peeps is up a higher on the list, so that's a major drop.

Peeps tried to spin it by saying, "Peeps continues to be the number one non-chocolate brand at Easter." Even that's not true, since people preferred jelly beans.
