Patriot Day weekend in Le Claire you'll be able to get out and enjoy everything from fishing, classic cars, food, drink, music and raffles all to support wounded combat veterans and first responders with "Patriot Hunts River Fest".

What is Patriot Hunts?

Patriot Hunts provides outdoor experiences to Wounded Warriors as a form of therapy to help veterans cope with multiple deployments over the years.  This has proven to be invaluable in their short and long-term recovery. Numerous property owners, ranches, game preserves, and fishing charters from far and wide share their space with soldiers for hunting, fishing, and camping, to help them mentally and physically cope with their injuries.  They also provide several “Patriot Kids Days” throughout the year to give kids an opportunity to experience the outdoors.

100% of donated funds go directly to supporting the wounded warrior experience.

Quad Cities Live Music Venues That Aren't Live Music Venues Anymore

Nostalgia Alert!.

We've compiled a quick list (by no means comprehensive) of venues in the Quad Cities that are no longer music venues but to us will ALWAYS hold a special place were we saw some great shows and made some incredible memories.

To many of us the live music scene wasn't just a concert here & there. It was an every weekend affair. And it didn't matter if it was a touring band or your buddy's band. We were going to be there with a beer in hand and scream along with guitars that were way too loud in a room that was improperly treated acoustically and make some bad decisions.

Banned Baby Names In America
