Seventh Annual Wedding Dress Wine Walk Returns to LeClaire This September
The beloved Wedding Dress Wine Walk is back for its seventh year, inviting women to dust off their gowns—or any fabulous attire—and join friends for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and wine in downtown LeClaire. The event will take place on September 20th at 1:00 PM, continuing a tradition that has become a local favorite.
A Tradition of Laughter and Memories
Each year, the event brings together both new and familiar faces for a one-of-a-kind experience. Participants stroll through the LeClaire strip dressed in wedding gowns, prom dresses, vintage finds, or anything else that makes a statement. While the bridal theme is encouraged, organizers make it clear that creativity and personal flair are always welcome. The day is filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable photo opportunities.
Special Perks for 2025
This year, the Wedding Dress Wine Walk comes with an exciting new twist. LeClaire Plant Co., a locally loved shop, is partnering with the group to offer a unique perk. Guests who show up in a dress will receive not only a drink, but also a plant to take home. Organizers say it’s the perfect bonus for plant enthusiasts looking to add a new “plant baby” to their collection.
Another partnership in the works is with Of Heaven and Earth, a store known for its crystal jewelry, fossils, and dazzling crystal displays. Guests may even find exclusive surprises at this stop along the walk.
What to Expect
The event is free to attend, with no tickets required. Participants are asked to meet at Green Tree at 1 p.m., where the group will gather before heading to the next location. Organizers will provide a loose itinerary, giving everyone a chance to plan ahead.
While staying with the group is encouraged, attendees are welcome to explore on their own. However, everyone is invited to gather for the traditional group photo on the stairs—a highlight of the day each year.

A Day for Fun, Friendship, and Wine
From vintage “brides” wearing T-shirts under old gowns to tuxedo rompers and thrift store treasures, creativity is always celebrated. Above all, the day is about enjoying good company, good drinks, and good memories.
Organizers remind participants to drink responsibly and plan safe rides home.
So grab your gown, round up your friends, and get ready to raise a glass in LeClaire—it’s time to celebrate the Seventh Annual Wedding Dress Wine Walk.
