Nurse Leaves Windows Down on Hot Day, Returns to Find Bear in Minivan
Carrie Watts works as a home nurse in Rabun County, Georgia and she just learned a lesson about leaving her lunch unattended in her van with the windows down.
She was visiting a paitent and left her windows down because of the heat. Sometime later a black bear smelled her lunch and climbed in through one of the open windows. The bear helped itself to a sandwich, chips, and a cookie while destroying Carrie's child's car seat and a pile of paperwork.
The nurse tried scaring the bear away with the car alarm and by banging pots and pans together. The bear pretty much ignored the noises and just left on its own.
