Neighbors Save Pilot From Choking After Plane Crashes Into Yard
Neighbors Douglas DiSandro and Brian McShain came to the rescue of a pilot after his home-built plane crashed into a nearby yard.
Witnesses in Whitpain Township, Pennsylvania say the aircraft lost altitude after takeoff and hit several trees, causing it to break apart. "I heard gurgling in a bush and we found where the pilot was," DiSandro said.
The neighbors found the pilot being choked by his seat belt. DiSandro and McShain were able to lift him up to relieve pressure and another person cut the belt.
