Timothy J. Wachowski was arrested at the end of last year after he crashed into another vehicle and his blood-alcohol level was found to be nearly four times over the legal limit.

The 31-year-old had ran from the scene of the accident and was found by police several blocks away. They discovered Wachowski sitting in snow on the sidewalk, smelling slightly of intoxicants, shaking with a blank stare and pinpoint pupils, and would not respond to officers.

Bay County Assistant Prosecutor Michael Huber called Wachowski's 0.316 percent BAC "alarmingly high" and said, "He's lucky to be alive at this point."
