Man Earns Twelfth Conviction For Stealing Bottle of Aspirin
David M. Springer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania has been convicted of stealing from a store twelve different times. His latest trip was for a bottle of aspirin.
Springer purchased other items while in the store, but kept the $4.49 bottle of pills in his pocket. Prosecutors noted the low value of his theft, but say that Springer is a threat to society.
The thief is ordered to serve four months in county prison, five months on house arrest, 14 months on parole and three years on probation.
