Man Caught With Meth Blames It On A Ghost

If this had happened a little closer to Halloween, it might make sense due to all the costumes people would be wearing. Instead it's just the drugged-up ramblings of an idiot.

Michael Auttonberry in West Monroe, Louisiana called police and claimed that someone had attacked him with an axe. He says they stabbed him in the head with it.

When cops got to his home, he wasn't hurt and was yelling at people who weren't actually there. Auttonberry claimed a burglar attacked him, so they searched the residence. Officers didn't find any signs of a break-in.

They did find a small bag of meth however, it was just sitting on his nightstand. When they asked about it, Auttonberry said a ghost must have planted it there.

He's been charged with possession of a controlled substance and filing a false report.
