I'm not an expert on what are and aren't good reasons to call 911 but this really feels like a bad reason.

A guy named Mohammed Lokman in Stamford, Connecticut called 911 around 1:30 AM on Wednesday, all because his cat wouldn't let him into the house. He told the 911 operator, "My cat was getting too aggressive. I was inside and she attacked me, and she scratched me in my leg and bit me. So me and my wife, we come outside and now we cannot go in the home like for three, four hours."

The operator's response: "You said a cat?"

The police did head out, and Mohammed and his wife were able to get back into the house. It turns out the cat had given birth to a kitten the night before and was in overprotective mother mode. She eventually calmed down and now she's getting along with the family again.
