Kentucky Man Asked Flight Attendants To Join ‘Mile High Club’ On Spirit Flight
A man on a flight from Louisville to Orlando was arrested on Tuesday after agents say he grabbed flight attendants and asked if they wanted to join the "mile high club."
Welcome To Spirit Airlines
A Kentucky man, James Finnister, has been apprehended after being reported for disorderly conduct aboard Spirit Airlines Flight 693 from Louisville, Kentucky to Orlando.
What Exactly Did He Do?
Federal court records reveal that Finnister asked two flight attendants if they wanted to join the 'mile high club', and physically grabbed one of them, pulling her into his seat.
In addition to his sexual innuendos, Finnister allegedly questioned the crew members about the plane’s cockpit, showing an interest in entering it.
What Happened When The Plane Landed?
Upon landing at Orlando International Airport, Finnister was confronted by the Orlando police officers. According to the federal complaint, he acknowledged his unruly behavior on the flight and informed the officers that he had consumed a large quantity of alcohol before boarding as a means to settle his nerves since he had never flown before.
Following his arrest, Finnister has been charged federally with obstructing a flight crew member's duties. A judge granted his release from custody under the condition he appears at all upcoming court dates. Further proceedings in this case will shed light on any legal repercussions Finnister will face for his in-flight misconduct.
