Everyone has that friend who takes karaoke a little too seriously. But it probably hasn't landed them in jail.

26-year-old Joshua Fort was at a karaoke bar in DeBary, Florida last Wednesday night. While he and a friend were doing the Jay Z song "Holy Grail", they started having issues with one of the microphones.

It's not clear what the problem was, but Joshua started complaining about it to the DJ, who eventually took the mic away. Joshua was not happy about it. He walked up to the DJ and yelled, "You don't know who I am, I own this place", which he doesn't.

Then he slammed the guy's laptop down and smashed a glass over his head. The DJ needed several stitches behind his left ear, and Joshua is facing charges for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Although he claims the whole glass-smashing thing was in self-defense.
