Oh to have this on international flights.

I think most of us can agree that planes are uncomfy. We're sandwiched into seats, sometimes next to or behind people with questionable morals.

Now, American Airlines has unveiled a "premium" new plane they have, a Boeing 787-9. They rolled out the swanky new design at Chicago O'Hare.

NBC Chicago reports that the new plane has 51 "Flagship Suites", which features more personal storage space, a wireless charging pad, and a "chaise lounge seating option" that has an adjustable headrest pillow.

There is a Bluetooth connection across all cabins and a "reimagined" Premium Economy class and Main Cabin. Each seat has 4K QLED screens and will have movies, kids' movies, and more entertainment to choose from.

American says they're the only flight out of O'Hare to offer "premium seats on all flights". Here are a few looks from American Airlines on the inside of the new plane.

The Timing At O'Hare

There's a level of interesting timing with this new plane.

American's new plane comes during their lawsuit against the city of Chicago. They allege that O'Hare's plan is to give 6 of the airport's gates to United Airlines (which is based in Chicago).
