Just Like Cherry Cola
Ray Davies had to fly back to England and re-record one line of Lola for a BBC airing of the song, because the BBC had rules about commercial references. That meant they couldn't use Coca-Cola, they had to use Cherry Cola.
Adell Pulls A Canseco
Jo Adell had a fly ball miss his glove, hit his head and then bounce over the fence for a homerun, just like Canseco did years ago.
