A recall has been issued on certain Mexican dairy products sold at this popular grocery store in Illinois, according to the FDA. The products being recalled have a dairy product in them that could potentially get people sick.

If you frequently shop at one of the many Trader Joe's locations in Illinois or at a couple of locations in Iowa, make sure your fridge doesn't have the recalled items. Costco is also recalling certain Mexican dairy products because of the same reason.

Trader Joe's Recalls Mexican Dairy Products

Trader Joe’s, a popular grocery store with many locations in Illinois and two in Iowa, is recalling certain products containing cotija cheese, as the cheese used to make these products has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Healthy individuals may suffer short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
