Friday morning, QC Rock Academy and Made Ya Look came by the studio ahead of their Battle of The Bands, taking place Saturday night.

Made Ya Look is a QC Rock Academy-born band consisting of five Quad City teens, ranging from 16-18 years old.

Led by the powerful vocals and harmonies of Noelle McDonald and Lauren Shenck, this band of teens, the group tackles difficult covers of some classic rock favorites, like Good Times, Bad Times by Led Zeppelin.

The group stuck around and debuted their original song, which played live in front of nobody until this morning, Best You Ever Had made its first emergence from the practice space into the public on the radio. It's got a catchy hook, so don't be surprised when you catch yourself singing this one throughout the rest of the day.

Big thanks to Pieler Productions, and Kenny Bailey from Rascals for both coming in to help make this band sound good on the air.

Catch Made Ya Look at the QC Rock Academy Battle of the Bands Saturday night!
