“Grizzly Adams” Star Dan Haggerty Dies at 74

Famous '70s star who played Grizzly Adams, Dan Haggerty passed away early this morning after battling cancer over the last several months.

According to Haggerty's family the cancer was discovered after he had gone in for back surgery. While known best for his role "The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams", Dan also guest starred on several TV shows like "CHiPs" and "Charlie's Angels."

Haggerty was getting treatment in a hospital until recently when doctors told him the end was near and his son told close friends and family to come visit over the last few days before he passed.
