Florida Woman Stabs Boyfriend In Eye With Rabies Needle
Police in Miami had a weird case this week in the event of a domestic issue dispute turned assault where a woman stabbed her boyfriend in the eye.
According to a report from the Miami Police Department, 44-year-old Sandra Jimenez and her boyfriend of 8 years had been in an "ongoing argument" about his eyes wandering to "look at other women," and the argument came to a head on Saturday.
When the couple arrived at their home at the 500 block of Northeast 62nd Street, located in the city's Upper Eastside area, just before 10 pm, the argument turned physical.
The Miami Police Department said that the man went to lay down on their couch, when Jimenez suddenly “jumped on top of him with two rabies needles that were for their dogs” and stabbed him in his right eyelid.
After realizing what she had just done, police said Sandra Jimenez fled the scene. The man required treatment at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Jimenez was jailed on a $7,500 bond after a judge found probable cause to charge her with a second-degree felony for what she had done.
