Florida Woman Choked and Bit Her Uber Driver
A passenger decided to sink her teeth into the Uber riding experience, and I mean that in the most literal way possible.
Officers in Pinellas County, Florida say that Michelle Stilwell, 55, was riding in the back seat of an Uber near her St. Petersburg home on Saturday afternoon.
While the car was in motion, Stilwell “reached forward and proceeded to choke the victim from behind,” according to the police report.
Stilwell choked him with her hands, before moving on to wrapping an arm around him.
As the driver pulled over, Stilwell "managed to crawl forward onto the center console...and bite the victim deeply on the neck drawing blood." She also scratched him across the chest, “causing a large red in color mark with traces of blood visible.”
It didn't stop there. “The defendant continued to bite, strangle, and claw at the victim who was unable to defend himself as he was being attacked from behind.”
The assault only ended when the witnesses came to the rescue of the driver and pulled her off of him.
Stilwell was charged with aggravated battery and tampering with a witness, both felonies. The tampering charge comes from Stilwell knocking the driver's phone away as he tried to call 911.
