34-year-old Randy Austerman was stopped by Florida Deputies when his parked car was blocking a bicycle lane. As police approached his car they noticed he was reclined in the driver's seat.

Deputies asked Austerman to step out of his vehicle. The Florida man then reached towards the center console and pulled out a three-foot steel sword. Deputies immediately backed off as Austerman attached a metal dragon-shaped handle to the base of the blade.

Austerman began to stick his sword out of the windows at the police. Deputies tried to use their tasers but were unsuccessful in stopping him. Eventually, Austerman became incapacitated as he tried to flee through the vehicle’s passenger side door.

As he was arrested, police found methamphetamine, marijuana, and a glass pipe in Austerman’s car.
