"I Don't Have Radar - We Don't Know Where You Are"
Yesterday, there was a scary couple of minutes at the Newark Airport yesterday, when pilots lost radar for a short time.
You can hear the audio when the air traffic controller tells a pilot "I don't have radar. We don't know where you are."
NHL Playoffs
Round 2 of the Stanley Cups Playoffs and players are at their most competitive point of the season.
That showed last night in Game 1 between the Hurricanes and the Capitols, when Tom Wilson took Sebastian Aho's mouthguard right out of his mouth and started skating back to the bench with it.
A Carnival For Some Friends
8-year-old Liam from Kentucky was planning a carnival for his friend and wanted to get some prizes.
“He told me that he wanted to have a carnival, and he was ordering the Dum-Dums as prizes for his carnival,” LaFavers said. “Again, he was being friendly, he was being kind to his friends.”
Well, when the Amazon order arrived, it was 22 cases - of 23000 Dum-Dums.

Papal Conclave Odds
Turns out that there's a huge trend right now of people throwing money down on who will be the next pope. BetUS is one of many places you can place a bet.
Our favorite, purely for his name, is Pierbatista Pizzaballa.
Pirates Fan Update
The guy who fell at the Pirates game is recovering in the hospital still, and took his first steps yesterday. He broke his neck, back, and collarbone.
He's 20 year old Kavan Markwood, and he was heavily intoxicated.
A new angle of the incident shows what happened that led to his fall.
Ray Rayner Jelly Bean Contest
Michaels got the idea for the jelly bean contest from The Ray Rayner Show on WGN. We found him promoting his contest, and the prizes:
- A shirt that said you won the Ray Rayner Jelly Bean Contest
- All the homemade craft projects he did on the show. A birdfeeder made from Cool Whip Containers and some other crap.
