New Mobile Camera Cabinets
The City of Davenport has introduced some new "Mobile Speed Cabinets" they're setting up where the vans are not set up for the day.
Curling
Did you know curling wasn't an official Olympic sport until 1998?
Here's back in 1972, when it was still an exhibition event, and the thrower has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
They also used corn brooms, like the Wicked Witch of the West.
Only Mustard
A couple got to meet the Pope and asked him about hot dogs.
"Being from Chicago, you've probably had more hot dogs than any other Pope," the guy said.
Pope Leo responded, "Yes, only mustard, no mustard and ketchup," because Pope Leo is a true Chicagoan. (The captions are wrong.)
This means it's probably a sin to put ketchup on your hot dog.
Weirdest Heist Ever?
A guy got caught on surveillance footage driving a forklift to open the front security gate of a jewelry store, then smashed and grabbed a bunch of stuff, and escaped on... a donkey.
Buffalo Bill's GraveS
Buffalo Bill has two burial sites, and both the people at Lookout Mountain, Colorado and Cody, Wyoming say they have the real one.
The story goes that the people of Cody went to Denver and switched his body out with a lookalike. Then, they got back to Cody, thought they'd get busted if someone looked at the body double's hands too closely, so they rounded up the town and caravaned 350 drunk armed men towards Denver to take his body by whatever means necessary.
The mortuary decided it was time to hurry up the process and buried his body, then covered it in 20 tons of concrete.
