Big Auction Starts Today
A huge Rock & Roll and Pop Culture auction is happening over at Gotta Have Rock And Roll Auctions, starting at 8am.
The biggest item - a Frankenstein guitar used in the 5150 Studios by Eddie himself. According to the description, it was given to him at the 1985 NAMM Show, and was later signed by Gary Kramer who founded Kramer guitars.
They even found video of him getting the guitar gifted to him.
Opening bids are at 8am, starting at $800,000, with an estimate of $1.5M-$2M for the final price.
5150 40th Anniversary
The 40th anniversary of Van Halen's 5150 album is this year, and to celebrate, a special release of the album in an expanded format is available to preorder before it's March 27th release.
The 5150 Expanded Edition is a LP/3CD/BLU-RAY set that features new high-definition versions of Live Without A Net.
The single released ahead of time is a Summer Nights recording from August 27, 1986.
Hawking And Epstein
A bunch of photos were released this morning of Stephen Hawking at Epstein Island, and they're 100% real from the Department of Justice.
One of the big ones circulating is him in a lounge chair with two women in bikinis, sipping what looks like some kind of strawberry fruity drink (with the help of one of the women).
Roger Craig
53 years ago, Roger Craig completed an assignment at school in his 7th grade class, where he said he wanted to be a professional football player.
Well, that dream came true, as he was not only one of the most legendary players of all time, but he just was posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.
