Down With The Ship? I Don’t Think So…

What is it lately with the disgraceful behavior of ship captains?  The recent ferry crash and subsequent rescue operation has come under more scrutiny, with the South Korean Coast Guard asked why they took the crew off the ship before the passengers, many of whom were students?  The simple answer is illustrated below in a screen cap from a cell-phone video.  The captain is hurried from the capsizing ferry in his underwear, and appeared to have no uniform on, or any outward sign that he was crew.  I can only imagine that the training of this crew (and of the Concordia) is lacking the chapter that covers responsibility to your passengers.
