A township meeting in Cecil, Pennsylvania, was meeting on whether or not the city would be shutting down the local motocross track where they race dirtbikes, because of noise complaints about the bikes.

Last week, Steel Town MX, shared that a notice for a hearing on the track was scheduled regarding a cease and desist against the track.

We Just Received Notice That Cecil Township Will Be Holding A Public Hearing On Monday, August 18th At 7:00 PM Regarding An Appeal And Cease & Desist Against Our Track.
If You Live In Cecil Township, You Can Speak At The Meeting And Tell Them Why Steel Town MX Matters To You.
If You Don’t Live In Cecil, You Can Still Show Up, Fill The Room, And Stand With Us — The More People We Have There, The Stronger Our Message.
Steel Town MX Is More Than Just A Track — It’s A Place Where Riders, Families, And Friends Come Together. It’s Where Memories Are Made, Skills Are Built, And The Motocross Community Grows. Losing This Would Be A Huge Blow To Riders Of All Ages In Our Area.
One motocrosser/resident in the area wanted to speak his piece, but didn't follow the format of "State your name" and all that, he just wanted to say "Either you hear them where they're supposed to be or where they're not supposed to be."

Only, a council member kept interrupting him to state his name and address. So, he started making motorcycle noises and "rode" off the podium and around the room back to his seat.

Luckily for us, he also was wearing some Meta glasses at the time so we get to see what it was like through his eyes.

The council ultimately decided on closing down Steel Town MX, but citizens and motocrossers all continue to fight for the course.
