The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is once again inviting the community to its annual Fall Festival, a free event designed for individuals with disabilities and their families. The celebration takes place Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Camden Centre in Milan. Admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

A Night of Fun and Inclusion

The Fall Festival promises a lively evening filled with activities for all ages. Guests can enjoy games, raffles, prizes, music, and dancing, along with free food provided by Adolph’s Mexican Foods on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizers say the festival is more than just entertainment. It’s a night of connection, joy, and inclusivity, giving families the chance to make memories together while celebrating the season.

Supported by the Community

The event is made possible through the Wilber L. Burress Endowment, which helps The Arc continue to provide inclusive, no-cost events to the Quad Cities community. This support ensures that the Fall Festival remains an annual tradition families can count on.

Founded in 1952, The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is a Rock Island-based nonprofit that provides a wide range of services to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These include residential support, job coaching, advocacy, and day programs that encourage independence and community engagement.

Building a Better Future

The organization emphasizes that every person has value and deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life. “All people’s abilities should be valued and respected by the community so every person has the opportunity to achieve their best life,” reads The Arc’s vision statement.

With laughter, music, food, and friendship, the Fall Festival continues to highlight the importance of inclusion while offering families a chance to celebrate autumn together.
