Cities That Lose the Super Bowl Have a Huge Increase in Broken Cell Phones

It's a bad day for the people in North Carolina now that the Panthers have lost the Super Bowl, but it's early Christmas for the businesses there that do cell phone repairs.

A new study found that when a team loses the Super Bowl, the number of people who go in for phone repairs the next day is 200% higher than usual. The reason of course is frustration, mixed with alcohol.

"When we discovered the pretty hilarious trend, we knew sports fans across the U.S. would relate to the frustration of such a crushing loss," iCracked cofounder and CEO AJ Forsythe said in a statement.
