The Summer of 2024 was the Earth's hottest on record since records started being kept in 1880, and those record temps aren't going anywhere.

The Old Farmer's Almanac has released its forecast for the Summer of 2025, and all I can say is, make sure your fans are working.

Hot Weather Headed This Way

The Almanac is predicting the Midwest will be an average 4 degrees higher this summer than normal (compared to the forecasted national average of 2.5 degrees above normal), and that the Deep South will be seeing "Significantly Warmer Conditions."

You've got time to get yourself ready, as meteorological summer won't be kicking off until June 1st, with the astronomical summer solstice starting up on June 20th.

The Farmer's Almanac says they wouldn't be surprised to see record-breaking heat this summer, given the trends from recent years. Looks like we're going to be seeing a toasty summer any way you look at it.

While they don't see a high chance of hurricanes for the Carolinas just yet, they are warning of Tropical Storms.
