Blue Cat Revives “Off The Rails” Pale Ale
The return of one of the original craft breweries in the Quad Cities happens November 5th. Today, owner/brewer, Charlie Cole brought me a revived recipe from the original Blue Cat called Off The Rails Pale Ale. It's made with ingredients from England and is more flavorful & hoppy than a normal "pale ale." You may notice it's darker color. Charlie and I noticed that more you drink the more the malts shine through and the bitterness subsides.
Blue Cat Brewing Company will reopen in their Rock Island location officially on November 5, 2021 with a new menu and full lineup of house made beers!
This Week
Radicle Craft Bazaar is Thursday and features several local craft vendors at Radicle Effect Brewerks from 5-8pm. Give back to the community and shop local and enjoy some adult beverages while you're at it. There will be hand crafted items including pottery, clothing, jewelry, screen printing, and more.
Food Truck season is wrapping up so make sure to catch some of your favorite sammies, tacos, pizza, BBQ, and more before they close up for the season. Also make sure to grab a pint or few of the newest QC brews on tap around the area.
