The Wisconsin Department of Transportation released a footage from a traffic camera this week that actually happened on July 4th. A cyclist fell in the gap created by an opening drawbridge.

The biker, an unidentified 37-year-old woman, is seen approaching the bridge and even collides with one of the barriers. For whatever reason, she rides up close to the rising bridge and falls into the gap.

The bridge operator was able to keep the bridge in place while she was rescued. The cyclist only suffered some injuries to her face.
