Bettendorf-Native Filmmakers Writing Films For Big Name Studios

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods are Bettendorf natives and University of Iowa alumni who have been writing scripts together for years. Recently they've been landing some pretty big gigs.

The film making duo wrote "A Quiet Place" for Paramount. The film stars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt and will also be directed by Krasinski. The horror-thriller is set to be released next April.

Their newest project is "Haunt", a horror film that Scott and Bryan are writing and directing for Sierra/Affinity. The plot follows a group of friends that go to an extreme haunted house on a night that turns deadly.
