All Veterans Memorial Association's Planned Weekend Services

There are several chances for you to show your respect for all of our fallen veterans this Memorial Day Weekend. Here are the services planned by the All Veterans Memorial Association.

On Sunday, May 27th, head out to any of these locations at the time specified:

1:00 P.M. – Memorial Service at Oakdale Memorial Gardens (Soldiers’ Lot), 5201 Eastern Avenue
1:30 P.M. – Memorial Service at Legion Circle, located inside Davenport Memorial Park, 1022 E. 39th Street
1:45 P.M. – Memorial Service at The Aviator Memorial, located inside Davenport Memorial Park, 1022 E. 39th Street
2:30 P.M. – Featured Memorial Service at the All Veterans Memorial, also located inside Davenport Memorial Park. Featured speaker will be Col. Brad Cook, Inspector General for the U.S. Army's Sustainment Command.

If you're weekend is already filled to the brim with plans, there's still a great opportunity for you tomorrow. Volunteers are needed for Flags In at the Rock Island Arsenal National Ceremony.

Thousands of flags need to be placed on the headstones of the fallen. If you've never been, it's an amazing sight to behold.
