Eastern Iowa Brewery Wins Mississippi River Beer Battle

The 2025 Beer Battle On The Belle trophy was presented to our winner, 7Hills Brewery in Dubuque. 7Hills manager Jeremy was on hand, and Joe the Brewer accepted the trophy that was custom-engraved and built by Premiere Metal Art.

The Beer Battle On The Belle 2025 Winners

The event hosted 14 Breweries and beer makers from three states, and attendees sampled more than 50 different varieties before voting 7Hills as this year's champ.

One of their sample brews was a certified hit, a fruit-forward Sour called Purple Reign. At the Dubuque location, they regularly have a dozen or more of their brews available, including the author's favorite classic IPA 7 Headed Monster.

What sets The Beer Battle Championship apart from other contests is that the participants, who are all judges, are beer enthusiasts who have paid an admission fee to sample the brews. They are not random people just clicking an online poll.

7Hills was proud to accept this trophy and immediately displayed it next to their Golden Noodle award for their incredible Macaroni and Cheese recipes.
