You Can Buy Your Own Private Island on eBay

Using eBay to sell off your old belongs is so played out nowadays, private island real estate is where it's at now.

A listing just went up for a 3.98 acre island off the coast of Belize in the Caribbean Sea. Bids are starting at about $500,000, so far nobody has place one though.

The current owner has lived there for three years and has been restoring it, but has to move back to the United Kingdom. The island is in a perpetual summer with temperatures around 80° all year.

There is a water collection system, solar system with back up generator, and two wooden properties on the caye: a small cabin and a larger house with upstairs sleeping accommodation.

You can enjoy activities like fishing, birdwatching, snorkelling sunbathing, island hopping, etc.
