Jeremy Van Ert of Marshfield, Wisconsin went to a convenience store just before beer sales ended at midnight. Knowing the store would not sell to him, Van Ert walked into the beer cooler and at 12 o'clock it locked him in.

The 38-year-old spent the entire night in the cooler and had helped himself to an 18 oz. bottle of Icehouse and three cans of Four Loko. At one point he knocked over a stack of Busch Light cases.

Van Ert wasn't found until a customer walked by the cooler at 6am. He fled the scene but was later arrested for retail theft and violating probation. His probation required him to remain sober.
