What Kind of Snake Was in My Livingroom

Figured I'd take a load off after my morning of hanging out at the Toys for Tots run yesterday (thanks Hoker Trucking & Abate of Iowa-15 for having me) and watch some football. This normally leads to napping and the weather was perfect for both.

Until I saw my son's toy snake on the floor. Hadn't noticed this toy on the floor before now. Hmm.

The dog noticed the toy snake too. Son of a bitch! The toy just moved!

NOT A TOY! THIS IS NOT A TOY SNAKE! IT'S A REAL ONE!

So, I almost swallowed my tongue. The wife runs upstairs...ya know, because snakes cant' climb stairs (?). I find a broom and a box, wipe my tears, and sweep the snake into the box.

Then...it starts RATTLING!!!

YOWZA!
