It's time to put an end to 2020.  If you want to get a jump on getting out of this year and into 2021, you can hop a plane to the Pacific island nations of Tonga, Samoa, and Kiribati.  They start the New Year first.  Most of us will actually still be sleeping when they flip the calendar since it will be 5am in the Quad Cities.

Now if you can't make it all the way till midnight, you can just keep the 2020 tradition of doing everything virtually!  Ah yes, technology lets us look around the world as people celebrate the New Year.

First, we start in Melbourne, Australia.  If you want to wake up at 7am and watch the clock hit midnight from this live feed be our guest.  But if you want to sleep in, check out more live feeds below.

When it's time for lunch here, you can watch the New Year get underway in Bangkok.

Now that you've already started the day with two celebrations, let's jump ahead and take a look at Saint Petersburg.  They'll celebrate starting at 3pm central time.

Now we get to a big ol batch of them as much of Europe will celebrate the New Year at 5pm our time.  And they have a lot of cameras to peak in.

And of course, if you don't want to listen to the nonsense on TV, but would like to watch the most famous place for NYE in the world, here is the Time Square live cam.

Happy New Year!  Let's do this 2021!
