The next leg of Pearl Jam's 2018 world tour doesn't ramp back up again until June so, with some downtime, frontman Eddie Vedder hopped onstage to do a song with the New York City-based Tangiers Blues Band this past Saturday (Apr. 21) at the Tribeca Grill, a Manhattan restaurant hotspot co-owned by actor Robert DeNiro. Fan shot video of the performance can be seen above.

Vedder and the Tangiers Blues Band, which features photographer, filmmaker and Pearl Jam video director Danny Clinch on harmonica and former Echobrain member Chris Scianni on guitar, covered the Bob Dylan classic "All Along the Watchtower." Clinch has been a longtime collaborator with Pearl Jam, directing their 2006 concert film Immagine in Cornice, last year's Let's Play Two: Pearl Jam Live at Wrigley Field and worked with them on many photo shoots and videos.

June and July will see PJ head over to Europe for a handful of shows before returning to the States in August for a set of gigs in baseball stadiums including Safeco Field in Seattle, Wash., Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. and Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. The Seattle dates are being dubbed "home" while the rest are labeled as "away" dates in a nod to their baseball fandom. The full list of dates can be found here.

Vedder isn't the only member of Pearl Jam keeping busy musically until the tour starts again, bassist Jeff Ament is putting the finishing touches on his solo album, titled Heaven/Hell. It will mark the third solo effort from Ament, following 2008's Tone and 2012's While My Heart Beats. Pearl Jam also has an album expected for release later this year, their first LP since 2013's Lightning Bolt.
