VIDEO: Good Samaritan Gracefully (Accidentally) Returns Vehicle to Crash Scene
Dashcam video shared to ViralHog shows a crazy accident that happened in an intersection after one driver ran a red light and was t-boned by a vehicle that had the right of way.
The vehicle that ran the light flipped on its side, just narrowly missing the car that had the dashcam inside of it. It continued to roll until it was off-camera.
As you start to think the video is over, a white SUV rolls into frame, traveling the same direction as the recording car. This Good Samaritan gracefully caught the GMC that ran the light with its windshield and rolled back to the intersection to a stop.
Obviously, it was probably just a matter of coincidence that the car stopped at the intersection, but I like to look at it as a good samaritan act, like one of those guys who grabs a suspect running out of a gas station robbery.
You go, white SUV. Way to be a hero.
The uploader, Thomas Casey, wrote in the description his own telling of what happened.
My wife and I were in the vehicle with the dashcam. At around 12:30 pm a person driving Eastbound on 82nd street ran a red light at Hague rd. We were facing Westbound on 82nd, stopped at the red light as a pedestrian crossed 82nd street. An oncoming vehicle didn't see the red light. The struck vehicle sprinkled mine with parts and the sunroof. It landed on a car beside me and spun on its nose, falling on the Jaguar SUV that was waiting at the light. Six vehicles were damaged in total, Thankfully there were no injuries.
