Area events are canceling and businesses are closing shop. Illinois has ordered any public or private gatherings above 1000 people to postpone.  And all Illinois schools are closed till March 30.
Iowa has followed suit with a state of health emergency closing restaurants to inside dining, bars, theaters and more.  Read all about it here.

Here's a list of things in the Quad Cities that have been postponed, if anything is not on the list, or if your event is still taking place, have your organizer email ryan.mccredden@townsquaremedia.com:

  • All TaxSlayer Center Events for the next 30 days (as of March 13)
    • Quad City Storm have canceled remainder of the season.
  • All Rust Belt events for the next 30 days (as of March 13)
  • All inside dining in Illinois is banned till March 30.
  • Flower and Garden Show
  • Illinois Casinos till March 30.
  • Rhythm City Casino till March 31.
  • Post Modern Jukebox, Alice Cooper and Waitress at Adler Theater.  See the full list of events at adlertheatre.com.  
  • Bettendorf Family Museum till March 31
  • NAIA Winter Championships
  • Special Olympic Activities Suspended till end of March
  • Classes at St. Ambrose, UNI, Univerity of Iowa and Iowa State moved to online.  Augustana off class till March 30.
  • Illinois DNR closed all state parks and recreational areas.
  • Chick-Fil-A dine in closed TFN.
  • Taco Bell dine in closed TFN.
  • John Deere Attractions will be closed through March 31.
