Two Out of Five People Are Dying to Quit Their Job

Are you dying to quit your job so you can finally start that business you've always dreamed about? I say do it. Getting paid a salary is overrated anyway.

According to a new study, two out of five Americans say they dream about quitting their job to start their own business.

And here are the top four reasons why we want to go out on our own:

Following a passion, 64%.
Being our own boss, 59%.
Supporting our family, 51%.
Wanting to solve a problem or improve the world, 36%.

The study also found 52% of people who want to start a business have already taken some steps toward making it happen, but the main reasons they haven't pulled the trigger yet are the costs of getting it going or their fear of failing.
